Summary:TheSeniorNetwork Administrator responsible for Tier 1 and Tier 2 support for Government Customer Secure Video networks. Responsibilities include technical and administrative work in multiple Video Teleconference (VTC) enterprise networks, scheduling, monitoring and troubleshooting Audio Visual components.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:(Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this position)

· Provide technical and administrative work in multiple Video Teleconference (VTC) enterprise networks, scheduling, monitoring and troubleshooting Audio Visual components.

· Responsible for VTC and Auditorium equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, engineering design and support, third-party product and supplier management and operations.

· Ensure that all video teleconferencing rooms are fully functional in accordance with customer and user needs.

· Work with the VTOC leads to develop and support Tier 2 responsibilities to include network requirements and concepts.

· Participate in documenting; maintain operations, network development, and maintenance procedures.

· Support communications, data, and user interfaces for internal and external systems in areas associated with network design and specification.

· Responsible for installation of new hardware and maintenance of existing hardware.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

· Provide training the end users in the use of equipment and scheduling software.

Minimum Qualifications:(To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.)

· Bachelor’s Degree or 6 years of experience or direct customer experience.

o Experience with Auditorium and VTC equipment installation, maintenance and operation is required.

· DoD 8570.01-M baseline certification compliant within 90 days of hire.

· Tandberg training or certificates similar to TMS and TCEP is strongly desired.

· AV industry certificates such as CTS, CTS-D, CTS-I are a plus.

· TS/SCI required.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office Suite.

· Must have strong oral and written communications skills as well as strong customer service experience.

· Knowledge of LAN & WAN installation & configuration, routing & switching, Network Design and Implementation.

· Ability to obtain DoD 8570.01-M baseline certification within 90 days of hire.

· Ability to travel, as required.
