Summary: TheProject Coordinator/Procurement IVSupports, defines, and maintains operations processes and procedures for the Federal Election Commission (FEC).

  • Serves as key point of contact for customers, overseeing the day to day customer interactions and operations.

  • Ensures customer, project, and maintenance requirements are gathered, communicated to all team members, and executed at a high level of quality.

  • Assists in scheduling resources.

  • Provides frequent project updates, often initiating and leading planning discussions and preparation efforts for additional resources.

  • Works closely with the project team to support, define, and maintain operational procurement processes and procedures as the point of contact for project and procurement requirements and support.

  • Provides support to higher level project managers as needed.

  • Establishes goals and priorities of the vendor management operation that ensure operational integrity, including compliance with all policies and procedures.

  • Identifies areas of opportunity for improvement with a focus on total cost reduction and supplier optimization.

Minimum Qualifications:(To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.)

  • Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Commerce, Economics, or related field.

  • 5 years of product procurement experience.

  • 2 years in a head of function leadership capacity.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Have prior vendor or supply chain management experience, ideally with vendor services.

  • Possess strong influencing skills with issue mitigation approach.

  • Must have working knowledge of a variety of computer software applications, to include Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Must be able to multi-task in a high performance based environment.

  • Possess excellent interpersonal skills when interacting with team members, government personnel, and others associated with projects.
