Summary:

TheProject Manager (PM) has responsibility for planning and managing projects for various Chenega customers/clients. ThePM will ensure all projects are delivered in adherence to project scope, schedules and budget. ThePM is responsible for exercising leadership, maintaining high morale, mentoring and directing the performance of all personnel assigned to the PM’s Team. ThePM will communicate with the Contracting Officer Representative (COR), Chenega Program Manager, Supervisors and Team Members frequently regarding the overall performance and status of all assigned projects.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:(Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this position)

· Maintain a working knowledge and understanding of Electronic Security Systems (ESS), up to and including ACS, CCTV, IDS hardware and software

· Maintain a working knowledge and understanding of electrical principles

· Possess the ability to use diagnostic equipment/software and established troubleshooting techniques to isolate network deficiencies, equipment failures and operational anomalies

· Read and interpret electrical and electromechanical schematics and architectural drawings

· Read and adhere to blueprints and installation design plans for the installation of sub-level devices (i.e. patch panels, junction boxes) and head end equipment

· Read and understand component level schematic diagrams for systems, equipment and devices

· Identify appropriate cables from drawings and running cables/fiber per installation design plans

· Plan and manage project scope, schedules and budget

· Manage all project resources

· Procure and track project materials

· Demonstrate ability to work independently

· Identify and manage project risks

· Attend all required meetings, conferences, and working groups

· Provide effective mentoring, counseling, and discipline for all Team Members

· Communicate effectively with all project stake holders

· Demonstrate effective oral and written communication

Non-Essential Duties:

Supervisory Responsibilities:

· Manage up to 10 personnel

Minimum Qualifications:(To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.)

· BS/BA in relevant field or a minimum of 15 years relevant and proven ESS work experience required.

· In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification document form upon hire.

· Secret clearance required, plus ability to obtain Top Secret.

· PMP certification preferred, but not required.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

· Must be proficient with Microsoft Office products

· Proficiency and knowledge with Software House CCURE, MDI, Bosch, Lenel and Hirsch preferred
