Summary:

  • The Senior Enterprise Software Architect will demonstrate expert knowledge of software model development methodologies and which methods are appropriate for a given project.

  • Support the Government in application design and development

  • Provide documented experience in software requirements analysis, design analysis, programming, integration, documentation, and test and evaluation

  • Document development requirements for database, applications, and operation system environment

  • Demonstrate expert knowledge of software model development methodologies and which methods are appropriate for a given project

  • Support the government by recommending the overall system design

Minimum Qualifications:(To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.)

  • Master’s Degree in Software Engineering OR a Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline with a minimum of 8 years’ experience of Software Engineering, Coding and Design.

  • Experience with high level architecture and distributed interactive simulation modeling and simulation standards and an expert level of understanding of computer architectures

  • Experience in reading, understanding and developing DOD Architecture Framework (DODAF).

  • Experience with Windows and Linux

  • IAT II Certification required

  • Top Secret clearance with ability to obtain an SCI clearance.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Highly skilled in programming in C#, Structured Query Language (SQL) and Java

  • Excellent written and verbal communications and customer service skills.

  • Expert knowledge with server-side languages, database integration and cutting-edge development techniques

  • Knowledgeable of current military related modeling and simulation concepts, practices, and procedures.

  • Knowledge and skill in applying analytical and evaluation methods and techniques

  • Ability to work independently and as a team member

  • Ability to obtain an SCI clearance

  • Shall have expert knowledge of Windows and Linux based systems.

  • Shall be skilled in web-oriented software development.

  • Ability to work shift work.

  • Ability to handle controversial situations with tact and diplomacy.
