Summary:

  • The Senior Systems Engineer (SETA) will work with system owners and stakeholders to define the details of Enterprise Service functions and the Application Program Interfaces (API); identify and recommend Enterprise Service evolution to maximize use of Enterprise Services; participate in the evaluation of service design, development and verification; define and execute Enterprise Service integration. The Senior Systems Engineer (SETA) will conduct trade studies, assessments, and develop system-level requirements in conjunction with end users.

  • Providing expertise and assistance to the Government Program Manager in the execution of multiple advanced technology development programs

  • Performing program portfolio oversight to ensure all critical elements are addressed

  • Identify technical requirements to satisfy functional needs

  • Provide Architect enterprise, system and services solutions

  • Support the migration of legacy applications into the cloud

  • Develop and monitor processes and systems for operations and utilization

  • Oversee the development and installation of new hardware and software

  • Evaluate technology for suitability in customer environment

  • Propose solutions to customers hard IT problems

  • Performing detailed task planning and overseeing execution progress

  • Organizing and hosting technical meetings and conferences

Minimum Qualifications:(To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.)

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Science field and 12 years relevant experience OR 15 years relevant engineering experience without a degree

  • Demonstrated experience managing schedule, budget and program risks for fast-paced advanced technology programs

  • Expertise in the acquisition of new programs, solicitations and contracting actions

  • Demonstrated organizational expertise in large programs or organizations with multiple components and diverse teams

  • Active TS/SCI

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Must be well organized, an effective communicator at multiple levels and able to grasp system concepts and communicate their applications

  • Must be capable of quickly learning new systems and associated software applications for proficient execution of tasks

  • Must be capable of managing multiple projects with time related constraints in a fast- paced contract manufacturing environment

  • Must be able to speak effectively before groups of internal and/or external customers or employees

  • Ability to travel.
