Summary:

  • The Information Assurance Tech (Mobile) will serve as the Identity Management Engineer, which includes the responsibilities of managing user accounts and supporting threat and vulnerability related issues in the network.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:(Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this position)

  • Managing user accounts and supporting threat and vulnerability related issues in the network

  • Planning and implementation of threat reduction measures and identity management

  • Conducting risk and vulnerability assessments of planned and installed information systems to identify vulnerabilities, risks, and protection needs

  • Conducting systems security evaluations, audits, and reviews

  • Assessing security events to determine impact and implementing corrective actions

  • Ensuring the application of information security / information assurance policies, principles and practices in the delivery of all IT services.

Minimum Qualifications:(To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.)

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related discipline or 4 years’ equivalent experience in identity management may be used in lieu of degree

  • Experience requirements include seven years of related experience.

  • Desired experience includes ACAS, STIG, McAfee Antivirus, Apple, JAMF, CASPER, Cybersecurity Policies and Regulations.

  • Possess Baseline and Full Computing Environment Certifications for IAT-III IAW DoD 8570.01-M and BBP 05-PR-M-0002. The expiration date on certifications must be at least 90 days out from hire date.
