Summary:The Senior Hardware Engineer is responsible for providing inventory management and hardware maintenance of identified clients, servers and printers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:(Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this position)

  • Responsible for tracking the warranty periods for all equipment and report status to government.

  • Provide inventory management and hardware maintenance of identified clients, servers and printers.

  • Monitor the up/down status of networked items and report when an item is down for action to be taken.

Minimum Qualifications:(To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.)

  • Related IT Bachelor's degree with 4 years’ technical experience, or

  • 8 years of relevant experience

  • IAM Level I cert required

  • Experience with Windows operating environment.

  • TS/ SCI required.

  • Decision making and domain knowledge may have a critical impact on overall project implementation.

  • Must have domain and expert technical knowledge.

  • Has expert knowledge of IT equipment supporting a Windows operating environment to be able to repair and replace equipment and perform preventative maintenance and in inventory management methodologies.
