Summary:

Chenega

Professional & Technical Services (CPTS) is seeking aBusiness Process IT Analystto provide support to NASA - AMES

Research Center (ARC) within the Information Technology Services.

Essential Duties

and Responsibilities:(Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities

  • Applies

process improvement and re-engineering methodologies and principles to

conducting software application-based process modernization projects for

business IT Systems.

  • Responsible

for activity and data modeling, developing modern business methods, identifying

best practices, and creating and accessing performance measurements.

  • Writes

and maintains processes, procedures, test/assessment results, presentations,

papers, articles, and other types of documents as required.

  • Provides

group facilitation, requirements gathering, training, and other forms of

knowledge transfer.

Minimum

Qualifications:(To

  • Bachelor's

Degree in related field.

  • Eight

(8) to Ten (10) years of IT business process development related experience

  • Minimum

of Five (5) years of specialized experience in any of the following areas:

  • Process

Facilitation

  • Training

  • Methodology

  • Development

and Evaluation

  • Process

Engineering across all phases

  • Identifying

best practices

  • Change

Management

  • Business

Management Techniques

  • Organizational

Development

  • Activity

and data modeling

  • Information

system development methods and practices

  • Supervision

of Business Process Analyst

  • Must

be familiar with such areas as contracts, finance, and human resources.

  • Must

be able to obtain required NASA badge.

  • Must

be able to provide a certified Birth Certificate (with state seal), Passport,

or INS Citizenship documents on date of hire (candidate will be sent home if

this paperwork is not provided upon arrival on date of hire).

  • Must

have, and maintain, a valid driver’s license.
