Summary:

· TheSr. Architectural DrafterReviews and checks completed work assignments. May work on complex assignments and has working knowledge of applicable equipment including CAD/CAM. Defines and clarifies work requirements with clients and other users. Develops estimates based on scope of effort. Performs other related duties as assigned.

A professional Senior Architectural Drafter (CADD) II must be able to perform the following tasks using Autodesk AutoCAD software of at least version 2013:

· Prepares working plans, detailed drawings and complete mechanical or electrical drawings and layouts of components and assemblies such as schematics, interconnect lists, parts breakdowns, wire lists, etc., from notes, verbal instructions and rough or detailed sketches for engineering purposes.

  • Work involves independent judgment to a limited extent with references generally available.

· Experienced in producing to scale architectural drawings representing site plan layouts; floor plan layouts; layout of electronic and electrical equipment; isometric details of electrical and electronic equipment; riser diagrams; electrical diagrams and single-line drawings; schedules; and ability to read, interpret electrical and electromechanical schematics and architectural drawings.

· Communicate effectively with Design Engineers and other staff.

· Must be able to work flexible hours to include weekends and holidays if needed.

Minimum Qualifications:(To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.)

· Associate’s Degree in Engineering, Electronics Technology, Civil Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering Technology or four (4) progressive years of direct experience with emphasis on detail drafting and electro-mechanical drawing.

· At least four years of supervisory related experience in detail drafting, preferably in the high technology industry with emphasis on electro-mechanical drawing.

· Knowledge/Experience with Autodesk AutoCAD software of at least version 2008

· Secret clearance required, plus ability to obtain Top Secret.

· AutoCAD 2013 or higher certification is highly desirable.
