Summary:

· TheRecords Supervisor will supervise the records and information management support team on this project.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:(Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this position)

· Supervise individual General Clerks, Data Entry Specialists, and Material Handlers in positions characterized by highly transactional and repetitive processes.

· Oversee the storage, backup, maintenance, reproduction, protection, and disposition of all records.

· Provide training and guidance to staff, and new team members as needed.

· Perform quality control reviews of the work performed by staff, and develops process improvement as required.

· Monitor time and efficiency to effectively establish, and maintain daily productivity.

· Contribute to the development of processes and procedures.

· Perform and direct complex assignments that require a moderate level of planning and organization.

· Work directly to establish effective communications with staff, team members, customer, and program management office.

· Conduct annual performance reviews as needed.

· Monitor staff labor hours daily, and provides verification through systematic approvals monthly.

Non-Essential Duties:

· Other duties as assigned to support business needs.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

· Supervisory responsibilities in planning, organizing, directing, and guiding the activities of team members.

Minimum Qualifications:(To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.)

· Bachelor’s Degree, or 6 years of administrative, and/or records management experience.

· 3 years of experience supervising 10 or more professionals.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to work individually, in teams, and interact tactfully with Government staff;

  • Ability to communicate fluently in English and understand and follow procedures.

  • Demonstrated ability to deal simultaneously and calmly with several crises; to determine the relative importance of each; to recognize important users of the service and to accord to them priority attention; to discern the true nature of problems from imprecise descriptions; and to refer problems to the proper individuals for resolution.

· Ability to lift standard boxes weighing up to 30 pounds.

· Ability to discuss and resolve operational problems with staff, customer, and program management office.

· Ability to plan, organize, and direct projects involving the efforts of several subordinates.

· Possess excellent verbal and written English communications skills to be able to correspond with professional staff, and understand complex sets of procedures and other documentation.

· Ability to obtain Public Trust clearance.

Work Environment:
