Summary:

TheDraftsmanwill support the Air National Guard’s (ANG) Remotely Piloted Aircraft – Squadron Operations Centers (RPA SOCs) program. Specifically, support will be provided to both AFLCMC/WII Systems Program Office (SPO) and at the 402nd Program Management Office (PMO).

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:(Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this position)

· Evaluate feasibility of technical and production plans, processes, and controls and provide inputs.

· Review engineering-created drawings for accuracy and utilize these drawings in the creation and support of installation ready drawings.

· Establish in coordination with the engineering team, drawing standards, standard labeling schemas and processes in relation to review and updating of the system drawings.

· Provide support in relation to quality assurance of conformance to the established engineering standards and system drawings to include technical reviews and inspections; provide support to FCA/PCA events for validation and inspection relative to the system drawings and specifications.

· Provide advisory and draft documentation support to the customer in relation to maintenance of enterprise as well as site specific drawings and specification deltas and shall maintain a change log to track all drawing changes and installation or engineering change requests.

· Support creation of various level of engineering level drawings to include OV, SV, and others as determined by the engineering team.

· Provide advisory and draft documentation support in relation to tasks including quality and product assurance, computer-aided drafting, and information technology support.

· Support the review of layouts, engineering, and production drawings, specifications, and test reports; identify potential issues and make recommendations for Government consideration.

Travel:

Travel may be required to attend testing facilities, conventions, and meetings at various locations in the continental U.S. (CONUS).

Minimum Qualifications:(To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.)

· Associate’s degree in drafting design or equivalent experience required. Minimum of 2 years of experience utilizing computer aided drafting systems to include Visio with a minimum of 1 year of IT systems experience.

· Active TS/SCI Security Clearance required or Secret clearance with eligibility to obtain TS/SCI.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

· Ability to work independently and part of a team.

· Excellent oral and written communication skills.

· Expert knowledge of MS Visio and publishing tools such as MS Office, Adobe Acrobat and screen capture software; knowledge of Microsoft and UNIX platforms; understanding of computer architectures, distributed systems and network storage architecture, telecommunications/network communications, hardware configuration design, and the software development process.

· Willingness and ability to travel (CONUS).
