Summary:

TheInformation Assurance Analystwill support the Air National Guard’s (ANG) Remotely Piloted Aircraft – Squadron Operations Centers (RPA SOCs) program. Specifically, support will be provided to both AFLCMC/WII Systems Program Office (SPO) and at the 402nd Program Management Office (PMO).

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:(Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this position)

· Provides system security advice, guidance, and assistance in support of the security accreditation of all RPA SOC systems.

· Serves on accreditation team efforts to provide evidence, artifacts, and required documentation to obtain Interim Authority to Test (IATT), Interim Authority to Operate (IATO), Authority to Operate (ATO), and Certificates of Networthiness (CONS) for RPA SOC systems.

· Develops security accreditation schedules and plans and provides insight for integration of new hardware or software capabilities being integrated into the RPA SOC baseline.

  • Applies knowledge of computer science principles, information management principles, Automated Data Processing (ADP) functions, hardware and software systems' structures and operation, and computer programming languages and techniques to ensure RPA-SOC architectures are in accordance with established security controls; assist in formulating RPA-SOC architectural design, functional specifications, interfaces and documentation of hardware or software systems; use detailed specifications and adapt standardized techniques, methods, criteria and precedents to develop or modify portions of a system or program; and responsible for segments or phases of broader, more complex projects.

· Supports the installation and maintenance of RPA-SOC patches for all servers, routers and PCs.

Travel:

Travel may be required to attend testing facilities, conventions, and meetings at various locations in the continental U.S. (CONUS).

Minimum Qualifications:(To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.)

· Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent years of experience.

· Minimum of three years of IA experience in a related field and IAM CAP Level II or higher. Must maintain certification status. IA experience with reconnaissance/intelligence/surveillance weapon systems or other weapon systems preferred.

· Active TS/SCI Security Clearance required.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

· Ability to work independently and part of a team.

· Excellent oral and written communication skills.

· Knowledgeable of the configuration and maintenance of RPA-SOC system of systems to include data flows and information protection configurations related to the specific hardware and software of the systems.

· Ability to provide simultaneous support to multiple personnel, as well as fully support personnel located at multiple locations.

· Experience with providing technical and feasibility analysis for modifications or upgrades to the RPA-SOC systems.

· Familiar with ICD-503 Risk Management Framework and the utilization of it within the RPA-SOC enterprise and systems.

· Familiar with Compliance Self-Test (CST) and ST&E practices.

· Familiarity with XACTA and ACAS tools

· Experience with creation and vetting of Security Impact Analysis (SIA) documents relative to the RPA-SOC enterprise and shall support creation and vetting of SIAsM# #M

· Willingness and ability to travel (CONUS).
