Summary:

· TheInvestigative Analyst shall supportthe INTERPOL Operations Command Center (IOCC), the Foreign Notices Program in Global Police Services, and other USNCB operational divisions if requested.Demonstrated experience in basic fact gathering and research methodology.

· The USNCB is a 24 hours a day, 7 days a week mission.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:(Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this position)

· Generates electronic case files in INTERPOL Washington’s internal case management system, which includes data entry and uploading of preliminary investigative findings.

· Transmits investigative information through international and domestic telecommunication systems in response to routine investigative and humanitarian inquires.

· Answers and responds to phone inquiries from both domestic and international law enforcement partners.

· Performs database queries in domestic and international law enforcement, compliance, and/or inspection computer systems to identify, gather and organize investigative leads.

· Enters lookouts on foreign criminals into U.S. databases.

· Inspects electronic case files and various documents for accuracy and compliance.

Minimum Qualifications:(To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.)

· Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.

· 1 – 3 years of experience performing the basic tasks of this position.

· Knowledge and skill in applying analytical and evaluation methods and techniques.

· Interim Secret Clearance.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

· Excellent written and verbal communications and customer service skills.

· Ability to work independently and as a team member.

· Experience with various software is essential, i.e., Microsoft Office suite, particularly Access and Excel.
