THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT UPON CONTRACT AWARD

Summary:

Chenega Professional and Technical Services (CPTS) is seeking an experienced IT Program Manager for a highly visible federal program. This role is primarily responsible for the successful delivery of an IT Program Management Office but will also support organic growth within the organization and growth potential to other agencies. This position will oversee a collection of projects, subcontractors and individuals covering a wide range of IT services.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: (Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this position)

  • Organizes, directs, and coordinates all contract programmatic activities.

  • Coordinates IT resources needs of the program with internal staff

  • Work with product teams, stakeholders, and management to improve performance and outcomes

  • Serve as the primary point of contact to the client(s) regarding overall and day-to-day service delivery.

  • Makes certain that implementations and ongoing services are delivered on time, on budget, meet the customer's requirements and are delivered with the highest degree of quality.

  • Ensures that the highest quality of resources are placed on the contract in support of the customer.Assist the development of resource estimations.

Minimum Qualifications: (To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.)

  • A Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related Business/IT discipline. Master’s degree preferred.

  • Minimum fifteen (15) years of complex, diverse program management and IT management.

  • Understanding of SDLC processes such as CMMI and Agile. IT Operations methodologies and framework such as ITIL is a strong plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Federal Civilian Agencies.

  • Experience with broad IT services
